Pumpkin Spice Seeds

These Spiced Pumpkin Seeds are full of comforting fall flavour!  This is one of my favourite healthy snacks to have on hand during the cool fall months. It’s a breeze to make, and lasts for a couple of weeks in the pantry. Dried ginger has an amazing array of health benefits, and pumpkin seeds are loaded with nutrients. A small handful will curb your appetite and stop cravings in it’s tracks.

Preheat oven to 250 degrees.
Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Place seeds in a thin layer on top of a parchment lined baking sheet. Bake for 1 hour, stirring once or twice. Remove from oven, and let cool before serving or storing in an airtight container.

-1/2 tsp sea salt

-1 tsp dried ginger

-1 tsp cinnamon

-1/2 tsp nutmeg

-1/4 tsp cloves

-1/4 cup maple syrup

-2 cups sunflower seeds

-2 cups pumpkin seeds
