This is my go-to pumpkin pie recipe that I make every Thanksgiving or Christmas. And every time make it, I wonder why I don’t make it ALL the time. I could probably eat a whole pie to myself in one day. It’s a good thing pumpkin is so full of nutrients 😉
Of course no pumpkin pie is complete without it being topped with a little fresh whipping cream. I make my own with organic cream, a splash of vanilla, and a little maple syrup. So easy to do, and nothing you have to feel guilty about indulging in. Unless of course, you end up eating the whole pie yourself…
For this recipe, you can either use canned pumpkin puree, or make your own. I love to make my own pumpkin puree. It is so easy to do, and the flavour is just so much better than the canned stuff.
