Homemade Almond Milk

Nothing beats the taste of homemade almond milk. I was shocked the first time I tasted almond milk bought from the store. My beloved turmeric milk I make most nights tasted awful!! Not to mention I was putting questionable ingredients into my body. It does take more work to plan ahead and make almond milk at home, but the results are worth the effort!

Directions

Soak almonds in filtered water for 8 hours. Drain and rinse well. In a blender, combine almonds, filtered water, vanilla, and date. Blend for 30-60 seconds. Strain through a nut milk bag set over a bowl. You can turn the leftover almond pulp into almond flour, or use it to make your favourite granola!
